Governance at HRPA: Protecting the Public, Elevating the Profession

The Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA) governs the HR profession in Ontario under the authority of the Registered Human Resources Professionals Act, 2013.

Our governance framework is designed to:

  • Uphold Public Trust: Through transparent, fair, and consistent regulation of HR professionals.
  • Support Strategic Oversight: Led by a diverse and skilled Board of Directors, aligned with our regulatory and member-focused mandate.
  • Ensure Accountability: With clear roles, robust policies, and inclusive decision-making that reflect the needs of all interested parties.
  • Adapt for the Future: Embracing innovation and continuous improvement to stay ahead of workplace and professional trends.

HRPA’s governance is grounded in legislation, driven by purpose, and committed to advancing the HR profession while safeguarding the public interest.
