FAQ’s
You can re-take the exam as many times as you wish, within your 6-month access period.
The access period is 6 months from the launch date of the practice exams.
The practice exams are non-refundable unless you have extenuating circumstances due to medical or bereavement and will be considered on a case-by-case basis
The URL can be found in the confirmation of registration email that is sent to you by HRPA once you have purchased the practice exams. Please ensure you are monitoring your inbox and also checking your spam folder for this email.
The launcher/eligibility ID is unique to the individual and will be sent to you as part of the confirmation of registration email.
The exam questions are retired from the question bank, and so have gone through the rigorous validation and review process and have appeared on previous knowledge exams. They are no longer in use on the actual exams and are being provided to you as a practice exam to test your knowledge.
There is a feedback screen once you have completed the exam that will display your percentage score, your raw score and the correct and incorrect responses. You will also be able to view the questions you got wrong and be provided with the correct responses.

Preparing to Write the CHRP-KE or CHRL-KE: Tips from Top Scorers
The Office of the Registrar is hosting a webinar, Tips from Top Scorers, for those who are planning on writing the CHRP-KE or the CHRL-KE. This webinar will be facilitated by two individuals who have recently written and passed the CHRP-KE and/or the CHRL-KE who were amongst our high scorers on these exams. They will be sharing strategies and study tips that worked for them and there will be an opportunity to ask them questions on how they were successful on the exam.

Advice on Preparing to Write the CHRP-KE or CHRL-KE:
This webinar will look at what exactly the exams are measuring, what they look like and different ways to prepare for the exam. This webinar will also provide an in- depth overview of the Competency Framework and test blueprints and how to best utilize these resources, editorial standards, and two important aspects of exam preparation including mastery of content and test-taking skills. This webinar will also emphasize the use of your own course notes and relevant HR textbooks. Lastly, this webinar will discuss the strengths of different exam prep methods including self-study, study groups, one on one mentoring and prep programs.

CHRP Employment Law Exam Prep & CHRL Employment Law Exam Prep Program
HRPA offers an online, self-paced prep program for the CHRP Employment Law Exam and the CHRL Employment Law Exam – consisting of audible, downloadable review narratives, timed exam simulations, and a glossary of HR law terms.
