HRPA was pleased to hold two official contest draws this year to promote member and student registration by the annual renewal deadline of May 31st.  The first draw saw up to 10 registrants, who completed their renewal by May 31st,  have their membership renewal dues fully refunded. The second draw saw up to 5 registrants, who completed their renewal by May 31st, win a gift certificate for one full-year of CPD opportunities, valued at $2,000. While membership renewal is important enough – who doesn’t love the opportunity to win and get something special for free? Terms and Conditions

Eligibility

All members and students who renew from April 4, 2022 to May 31, 2022 are eligible to participate in the contest. Limit of one prize per winner per year. Must be an existing HRPA member or student to be eligible for the contest. Names for the weekly draw will be announced every Monday on the HRPA Renewal website.

HRPA Board of Directors, Chapter Boards, HRPA Staff, FHRPA, Honorary, and DHRP members are not eligible for this contest.

HRPA Contest Rules and Terms & Conditions

An online randomized generator will be used to select the winner, and prizes must be accepted as awarded. The Prizes may not be sold, transferred and are not convertible to cash. If the selected conference event does not take place, due to any circumstances, HRPA will provide a list of other events in place of the cancelled event. Prizes must be chosen by 5PM EST on June 30th, 2022.

Upon accepting the Prize, the potential winner releases HRPA from any, and all liability of any kind arising out of the potential winner’s participation in this Contest and receipt and use of the Prize.

In the event that a potential winner does not comply with all the provisions as contemplated in these Rules, HRPA shall have the right to disqualify the potential winner, and draw an alternate potential winner, HRPA shall be fully and completely released and discharged from any liability or responsibility in this regard.

By entering this Contest, the entrants and participants automatically agree to accept and abide by these Rules. All decisions with respect to any aspect of this Contest, including without limitation the eligibility of entries, are final and binding on all entrants in all matters as they relate to this Contest.

All entries become property of HRPA who assumes no responsibility for incorrect, lost, late, delayed, destroyed or misdirected mail, voice messages, e-mail or any computer errors or malfunctions.  HRPA does not assume any responsibility for the inaccurate capture of entry information, technical malfunctions, human or technical error, seeding or printing errors, lost, delayed or incorrect data or transmissions, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or failures of any telephone or computer line or network, computer equipment, software or any combination thereof.

Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered are void. If for any reason, in the opinion of HRPA, in its sole discretion, the Contest is not capable of running as originally planned, or if the administration, security, fairness, integrity or the proper conduct of the Contest is corrupted or adversely affected, including by reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond their control, HRPA reserves its right to cancel, terminate, modify, amend, extend or suspend the Contest including canceling any method of entry, and select a winner from previously received eligible entries.

HRPA reserves their right to modify the Rules without materially affecting the terms and conditions hereof.

HRPA reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual they find to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of the Rules or otherwise in a disruptive manner.

HRPA, further reserves the right to terminate the online portion, as applicable, of the Contest and conduct the drawing from all online entries and all other entries (as applicable) previously received during the Contest Period. Any attempts to deliberately damage HRPA’s website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made HRPA reserves its right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent of the law.

HRPA shall not be held responsible for any errors or negligence that may arise or occur in connection with the Contest including any damage to an entrant’s computer equipment, system, software or any combination thereof, as a result of their participation in this Contest or from downloading any material from HRPA’s website, where applicable.

The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations. By entering this Contest, each entrant consents to the collection, use and distribution of his or her personal information (information that identifies an entrant as an individual, such as home telephone number, and home address) by HRPA for the purposes of implementing, administering and fulfilling this Contest. HRPA will not sell or transmit this information to third parties.
