International Women’s Day (IWD) is a global day to celebrate women’s economic, political and social advancements, and highlight the actions needed to achieve gender parity.

Building off the Government of Canada’s 2021 IWD theme #Feminist Recovery, the HRPA is recognizing all the remarkable ways women have pioneered change over the last year while also being disproportionately affected by the pandemic and other global developments.

Today is a reminder of the gender biases and inequitable business practices and policies that are ever-present in society and that still need to be challenged. #ChoosetoChallenge

As part of that mandate, we are working hard to provide Human Resources Professionals with the tools, resources and insights needed to begin an inclusive recovery that furthers the progress towards gender equitable work environments.
