Peter supports boards and senior management with technical insight in the areas of Executive Compensation, Human Resource Strategy and Corporate Governance. Peter’s work focuses on forward looking governance practices and risk management as well as provides education to key stakeholders on complex compensation systems.
Peter specializes in the strategic evaluation of compensation and corporate governance programs including business strategy, compensation philosophy and executive pay alignment, incentive design and valuation, compensation risk audits, and board education, which support clients’ organizational strategy and objectives, as well as shareholders’ interests. He possesses strong analytical and research skills and widespread knowledge in general practises of compensation governance and methodology. Given his vast experience, Peter has also been asked to share his insights in the media.
Peter was previously a Consultant in Hay Group’s Executive Compensation practice, focused on advising clients nationally across a broad spectrum of industries. His work is specialized in strategic compensation review and design, incentive performance calibration, board compensation and governance.
Peter has consulted on executive and director compensation issues for both public and private corporations in a range of industries including mining, financial services and pension funds. He is knowledgeable about compensation benchmarking, performance measurement and analysis, and corporate governance. Peter has specific experience in conducting both quantitative and qualitative analyses in areas of short and long-term incentive plan design, financial modeling, peer group establishment, pay-for-performance, executive and director compensation, and risk tendencies.
Brad Kelly

With extensive experience organizational governance and effective compensation design, Brad works with Board members and managers in assessing and implementing leading edge governance practices, mitigating risks, and educating key stakeholders on sophisticated compensation systems.
Brad specializes in performance goal setting, strategic review, valuation and the innovative design of executive compensation and corporate governance programs that help focus and support organizational strategic objectives and stakeholders’ interests. Brad is certified in the assessment of leadership behaviours and skills, as well as the assessment of organizational governance effectiveness.
Having spent several years as a Senior Consultant in Hay Group’s Executive Compensation Practice, Brad had the opportunity to represent stakeholder interests and advise the Boards of a wide range of organizations throughout North America. Prior to this, Brad spent close to a decade working in the Federal Public Service where he first specialized in performance management and strategic planning and later focused on organizational renewal, succession planning and management retention. Throughout all these roles, Brad led the development of broad, national, strategic plans and innovative enterprise-wide policies. Currently Brad is a principal course developer and lecturer for the NCPERS Accredited Fiduciary, and the HRPA Accredited Executive Compensation Programs; is frequently asked to present at conferences; conduct media interviews; and regularly publishes articles in professional journals and magazines. Brad is also a former Directors College and Not-for-Profit Governance Institute faculty member; and the current Board Vice Chair of Altruvest Charitable Services; and Board Chair of Sesqui Inc.

Milan retired in 2018 as Director, Wealth & Tax Planning for the London Life Insurance Company, Great- West Life Assurance Company and Canada Life Assurance Company (part of the Power Financial Group of Companies). Milan provided tax and estate planning support to the London Life, Great-West Life and Canada Life, Wealth & Tax Planning (WTP) Consultants across Canada. Milan also supported advisors associated with the Wealth & Insurance Solutions Enterprise (WISE) and Wealth and Estate Planning Group (WEPG) of London Life and Great-West Life, across Canada. Previously, Milan was a Senior Manager providing tax and estate planning services to High Net Worth planners and advisors with TD Waterhouse; and to an accounting and advisory firm in Hamilton-Niagara. For more than a decade Milan was the Vice-President Tax and Estate Planning and Senior Counsel, with a private mutual fund company and its affiliated securities and mutual fund dealers in Burlington, Ontario (Michael Lee-Chin’s AIC and Berkshire Group of Companies). Milan has extensive experience in tax and estate planning issues for owner-managers of closely held private companies as well as senior executives and key employees.
Milan is a tax consultant on the Solicitors Advisory Group (SAG) of the Law Society of Ontario’s (LSO) Professional Development and Competence Department, as well as an author of reference materials on taxation for the LSO’s Lawyer Licensing Process (Licensing & Accreditation) – formerly Bar Admission Course materials. Milan was a member of the LSO’s Taxation Law Specialty Development Working Group (2018) establishing criteria for the taxation specialist designation(s) for the Certified Specialist Program. Milan is an annual instructor for various tax courses with the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPAO) and was a study group leader for Parts I and II of the CPAC in-depth tax course. Milan was also involved with the income tax and estate planning components of the Bar Admission Course in Toronto from 1990 to 2005, and the Senior Lecturer in Tax for Business Law at the Bar Admission Course in Toronto from 1998 to 2005.
Milan is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, a permitted visiting lawyer in Saskatchewan under the Rules of the Law Society of Saskatchewan and a visiting lawyer in Alberta under the Rules of the Law Society of Alberta, in accordance with the National Mobility Agreement of the Federation of Law Societies of Canada.

Deandra’s practice focuses on public and private mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance (equity and debt), corporate governance and shareholder activism and general corporate matters. In 2017, Deandra received the Lexpert Rising Stars Award, which recognizes leading lawyers in Canada under the age of 40.
Deandra is also listed as a “Leading Lawyer to Watch” in the area of Mergers & Acquisitions in the current edition of the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory.
Deandra completed a nine-month secondment to Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited where she was involved in a number of mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance transactions, including the initial public offering of Fairfax India Holdings Corporation.
Deandra is an active contributor to the firm’s M&A blog, Canadian Mergers and Acquisitions Perspectives. She was also the first Chair of the Young Professionals Committee, a standing committee of the Toronto Region Board of Trade, which exists to support the activities of the TRBOT Young Professionals Network, and is currently a member of the volunteer organizing committee for the Great Jewellery Heist charity event in support of Bridgepoint Active Healthcare.
Deandra received her B.Comm. from the University of Toronto, her JD (with Distinction) from the University of Western Ontario and her MBA from the Ivey School of Business, graduating from the combined JD/MBA program in 2009. She earned a place on the Dean’s Honour List in each year of the combined program and received a number of awards for academic excellence. She was awarded the Gold Medal for the highest standing in the JD/MBA program.

Kadie Ward

Commissioner Kadie Ward assumed leadership of Ontario’s Pay Equity Commission in 2020.
Commissioner Ward is a seasoned executive whose career to date has been characterized by successful collaboration across public, private and civil society organizations. These collaborations have focused on designing and delivering inclusive economic growth strategies that engage traditionally marginalized populations and provide equal opportunities for all to participate in the labour market and ultimately contribute to the economic health of their communities.
Her expertise has taken her around the world working with legislators to establish programs and legislation to support women-led micro and small enterprises as well as women’s participation in the economy. Commissioner Ward most recently worked with the Federation of Canadian Municipalities to implement aspects of the Federal Government’s “Feminist International Assistance Policy” where her work focused on increasing women’s participation in the labour market as well as equitable participation of men and women in their local economy and democracy.
With an MA from Western University and an MBA from the Kellogg-Schulich School of Business conferred upon her by both York University and Northwestern University, Commissioner Ward has experience not only interpreting and applying legislation and their related governing acts and legal processes, but also contributing to their design and delivery in Ontario, Canada, and abroad.
