The Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA) is proud to announce that it is Great Place to Work-Certified™ for the third year in a row.

This certification is based on employee feedback gathered from Great Place to Work® (GPTW®), the global authority on workplace culture. Through an extensive and anonymous survey HRPA employees took earlier this year, GPTW® measured the employee experience, corporate culture and leadership behaviours at the HRPA. The results confirm that HRPA employees have a positive work experience, with feelings of pride for what they do, camaraderie among colleagues and respect for leaders and peers, all of which are rooted in an underlying culture of Trust.

It is a testament to the Association’s ongoing commitment to creating an exceptional work environment for its employees. Here are a few new measures that have been introduced as a result of the employee input received in the 2019 and 2020 GPTW® Trust Index surveys:

  • Designed and implemented a flexible work program
  • Hosted employee/leader feedback sessions
  • Created new councils and committees (i.e. Spirit Council) to enhance the employee experience

“We are thrilled to be recognized as Great Place to Work-Certified® again,” says Louise Taylor Green, HRPA CEO, CHRL, CHRE. “As the regulatory body of the HR profession in Ontario, it is important that we set an example and live our own values. This designation belongs to each and every one of our HRPA team members who continue to foster a work environment where people feel respected and take great pride in the work they do for the Association, our members, and HR professionals across Ontario.”

This recognition comes on the heels of the recent workplace achievement the Association earned this past December: 2020 List of Best Workplaces™ Managed by Women.
