Speaker Samia Hussein

Samia Hussein

Samia’s practice is focused on providing management with skilled representation in all areas of employment and labour law. Samia obtained her law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School where she was the recipient of the N.A. Taylor Entrance Scholarship and the Charles Edward Woodward award for academic excellence. Samia completed her undergraduate studies at Queen's University, obtaining a Bachelor of Science Honours in Psychology. Prior to joining Sherrard Kuzz LLP, Samia practiced management-side labour and employment law with a leading regional law firm, and was a summer and articling student with a national full service law firm during which time she completed a secondment at a multinational corporation. Samia is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, Canadian Bar Association and Ontario Bar Association (Labour & Employment, Civil Litigation, Constitutional, Civil Liberties and Human Rights, and Young Lawyers).
