Titus Total approaches his employment law practice with focus, determination and practicality. He takes great pride in being able to combine h8is creativity with highly developed problem solving skills to assist organizations and individuals navigate the employment relationship.
At Rubin Thomlinson, Titus supports both employee and employer clients in all areas of employment law, including employment standards, contractual obligations, terminations, investigations and workplace human rights.
He provides strategic advice on workplace disputes, and has successfully represented clients before varying levels of provincial courts and tribunals.
Prior to pursuing a career in law, Titus worked for the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat, where he contributed to the creation and implementation of professional development initiatives for federal public servants.
While studying at Osgoode Hall Law School, Titus volunteered at the Community and Legal Aid Services Programme, contributing to the administrative law division in an assortment of cases relating to human rights complaints, disability claims and landlord/tenant disputes.
Additionally, through the Pro Bono Law Ontario, Titus provided litigation assistance and guidance to parties appearing before the Ontario Small Claims Court.
In 2012-2013, Titus was awarded the McMillan LLP prize for academic excellence, and in his graduating year, was the recipient of the Male Athlete of the year award.
In his spare time, Titus enjoys hands-on renovation projects and all conceivable sports and athletic activities.
