Early Assessment Opinion
A common question asked is, "Will my experience count?" This question can only be answered by the Experience Assessment Committee. HRPA offers a service whereby candidates with as little as 12 months of experience may receive an opinion from the Experience Assessment Committee as to whether their experience will count toward the three-year experience requirement.
This service is subject to a processing fee of $105 (+HST). Should the experience be deemed at the professional level in HR, candidates will need to apply to have their experience validated once the full three years have been achieved. To apply, download and complete the VOE Application – Early Assessment Opinion and send it, along with payment and all supporting documentation, by mail, fax or email to:

If your initial Validation of Experience application did not provide enough information to be successful, you may submit another application to provide more information.
If any part of your original application was successful, it will be submitted with the new application with a note to the Experience Assessment Committee as to what experience was previously approved. However, if you do not wish to have your previous application submitted as part of your new application, it does not have to be included.
The fee for submitting another application is $100 plus HST. If your application is successful upon your second submission, you would then be required to pay the remaining $425 plus HST balance.
