Employment Practices Liability Insurance FAQ

Q: Is my business automatically covered for EPL as a subscriber to HRPA’s EZ HR Services?

A: There are four acceptance criteria (or referral criteria) prior to the Insurance coverage-taking place, however they are unlikely to be a factor for most EZ HR subscribers. You will automatically qualify for the insurance policy if:

  • Your business employs less than 25 employees, including the business owner/company directors*;

  • No claims have been made on behalf of a staff member or third party against you or your business in the past three years;

  • No incidents or circumstances have occurred which you believe might give rise to a future claim that would fall within the scope of this insurance offering.

  • You do not have any US or foreign employees.
