Volunteering

Volunteering at HRPA is a rewarding membership experience and volunteers are critical to the association’s continued success.

With the expertise and involvement of members, we create awareness of workplace issues, promote excellence in human resources management practices and provide services that support the HR community, knowledge-sharing and continuous professional development.

HRPA members and students are involved in a variety of volunteer service opportunities including:

The first step to volunteering at HRPA is registering in our volunteer services database. If your registration is accepted, you receive a notification. When an opportunity that matches your preferences and/or skills becomes available, you may be contacted directly with more information about the available volunteer role.

Elizabeth Forman, CHRL

Chapter Chair

As a Director of HR, Elizabeth brings over 30 years experience in non-profit, specializing in HR over the last 7 years. She has volunteered with the Board in the roles of Mentorship Chair, Chair Elect, and is now Chapter Chair.

Lisa Isaac, CHRL

Chapter Past Chair and Chair, Chapter Communications

Previous Chapter Chair, Membership, and Mentoring Director, Lisa has been an HR generalist for over 15 years, specializing in diversity and inclusion and analytics. She recently obtained her CHRL and runs an HR consulting company. Lisa’s experience in oil and gas, banking, trades, and with First Nations gives her an interesting HR perspective. She is passionate about learning from, mentoring, and developing others. Lisa recently volunteered on the HRPA Chapter Onboarding Task Force gaining valuable connections with Chapter volunteers across the province while helping to set new standards for the organization.

Chair, Chapter Programs/Professional Development Committee

Tracy is an HR Professional from Sarnia, but spent some time in Sudbury and North Bay to complete her Bachelor of Arts degree and Bachelor of Education. She has graduated from the Human Resources Management graduate program at Lambton College, and has successfully completed her CHRP designation. Tracy is passionate about developing her own skills to be able to provide excellent and innovative HR services to her clients.

Lyndsay has worked in various HR roles for almost 10 years within the public and broader public sectors, specializing in job evaluation, compensation and data analytics.

Fiona Pulickal - Chair

Chair, Chapter Mentorship Committee

Fiona is currently enrolled in the Business Management- HR program at Lambton College. She has a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree with specialization in Marketing and HR from Symbiosis International University, and has experience working with an NGO as a Personal Assistant to the Chairman. Fiona is an OMNI Customer Experience Salesfloor Executive at Walmart. She was a Mentorship committee volunteer prior to joining the Chapter Board.

Graduated in Psychology, Gisela has been an HR generalist for over 15 years. Her past experience in IT, food & beverage and pharmaceutical companies provides her with a broad view of HR daily challenges.
