HRPA is pleased to announce its 2nd Annual Student Case Competition! Back by popular demand, this one-day event will engage the best and brightest upcoming HR leaders and professionals and challenge them to tackle real-life business and HR situations.
This is a fantastic opportunity for students who want to:
- Apply their classroom knowledge to a real-life business scenario
- Upgrade their resume with impressive and relevant experiences
- Get valuable, constructive feedback directly from a panel of Senior HR Professionals
This event will be held on March 21st, 2020 at George Brown Waterfront Campus – 51 Dockside Dr., Toronto ON, M5A 1B6
What you can expect:
Participating students will be presented with an HR business case on the day of the Case Competition. As a team, they will have 2 hours to read and analyze the case, develop a response strategy, and produce a 20-minute presentation with their team’s recommendations. A panel of judges, comprised of Senior HR Professionals, will review and score the presentations based on a point system.
The top three teams with the strongest presentations will be awarded first, second, and third place prizes. In addition, the top-scoring team will have their school’s name engraved on the HR Business Excellence trophy and get to keep and proudly display the trophy at their school until the next annual competition.
How to register:
To participate in this event, please contact us at email@example.com to obtain and submit a registration form. Each school will be responsible for selecting a single team consisting of up to 5 HR students, who will then represent them in the competition.
