The ISN Investigative Interviewing System for Human Resources Professionals is a rapport-based module designed to maximize your success in any interview. Through an interactive day of presentations, working groups and case-based learning scenarios, participants will build a solid foundation for the development of interview skills.
Participants will:

- Use effective techniques to obtain the truth in a fair and ethical manner
- Understand the elements of human behaviour
- And learn to recognize truth from deception while using a rapport-based system including cognitive interviewing techniques.
Biography
Dave Perry
Dave Perry is a retired Homicide Investigator with an extensive background in investigative interviewing. He has taken his years of training and practical experience interviewing some of Canada’s most notorious criminals, and developed an interview technique for Human Resources Professionals. Working with a powerful team of qualified investigators, interviewers, certified criminal profilers, forensic psychiatrists and training and education specialists, Dave Perry has developed the ISN Investigative Interviewing System to incorporate current Canadian law. Dave and his team have been delivering interview training to HR professionals, including at several Fortune 500 companies, for over six years.
Chris Wilson
Chris Wilson is a decorated law enforcement professional with a resume that includes 25 years with the Toronto Police Service. As a Detective in the Homicide Squad, he had tremendous success and solved 32 out of 33 cases. Immediately following his retirement, Chris attended the University of Toronto to obtain his Bachelor of Education degree. His hundreds of criminal cases, years of testifying in criminal court, and his background in training and education has made Chris one of ISN’s most experienced and valued senior trainers. For many years he has applied all of that experience by developing courses for and delivering investigative interview training to Human Resources professionals across Canada.
