Thomas Gorsky is a highly experienced and accomplished practitioner of employment law. LawDay has named Tom as one of the top 100 leading practitioners of employment law in Canada. He has extensive courtroom experience, having appeared many times in the Superior Court of Justice and Ontario Court of Appeal.

Tom writes regularly on various topics related to employment law and is a former editor of the Dismissal and Employment Law Digest. He is often invited to speak at employment law conferences, including the Employment Law Summit and repeat invitations to address the Six Minute Employment Law Lawyer — two of the pre-eminent annual conferences on employment law, sponsored by the Law Society of Upper Canada. Tom has also appeared as guest on various media outlets including CFRB 1010 and AM640.

Tom is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, Canadian Bar Association (Labour & Employment, Civil Litigation, Constitutional, Civil Liberties, Human Rights, Pensions & Benefits, Workers’ Compensation), Advocate’s Society and Toronto Lawyers’ Association.

Carissa Tanzola represents management in many areas of employment and labour law. Her areas of expertise include: Occupational Health and Safety; Workplace Safety and Insurance; Disability Management; Human Rights; Ontario Labour Relations Board Proceedings; Construction Labour Relations; Employment Standards; Wrongful Dismissal Litigation; Grievance Arbitration, and Management Training.

Carissa is currently serving as a Member-At-Large for the Labour and Employment Law Section of the Ontario Bar Association Executive. She is a frequent speaker at conferences and conducts workshops and seminars relating to employment and labour issues.
