
This webinar is a practical presentation on what the employer would need to consider regarding investigations of workplace violence following complaints or work refusals under the changes to the Occupational Health & Safety Act implemented under Bill 168 and in force effective June 15, 2010.
The presentation addresses key points of the investigation process with reference to the new legislative requirements, particularly and employer’s duties under the work refusal process under the OSHA, which now apply to violence and harassment matters.

Sarah Crossley practises employment and labour law, advising and representing employers in both federal and provincial jurisdictions. Ms. Crossley advises employers on a variety of employment and labour matters, including terminations, human rights, collective agreement administration, employment agreements, policy development, discipline and discharge.
