Marni Johnson
President – Workplace Communication & Diversity Inc.

Marni Johnson has worked with more than 200 organizations in multiple sectors to help people communicate effectively and work harmoniously together. After conducting comprehensive organizational needs assessments, Johnson designed and delivered training in the areas of cultural diversity, generational diversity, dender Diversity, working respectfully in diverse teams, workplace harassment and violence prevention, sexual harassment prevention, mutual respect, Ontario human rights training and workplace business communication.

Johnson has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Education degree from University of Toronto. In addition, she has a Certificate in Diversity Training from the American Institute for Managing Diversity in Chicago.

She is a member of the Canadian Society for Training and Development (CSTD), the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA), the Strategic Capability Network and the Mississauga Board of Trade.

Over the last few years she has been a presenter at several Canadian and international conferences including The American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) New York; the Annual Divesity Conference (Toronto), The International Diversity in Organizations, Communities and Nations conference in Europe and the HRPA’s 2008 Diversity Conference among others. In May of 2009, Workplace Communication & Diversity Inc was showcased at the Women of Peel Annual Lunch.

Johnson is a member of the Board of Directors for the Halo Foundation, a corporation that supports charities that assist youth at risk.
