An overview of recertification, how to recertify and what qualifies

This webinar takes a look at the National Knowledge Exam (NKE) how it is developed and how it is scored.  It will look at how the questions are written and how the exam is assembled.  It will explain the concept of a ‘floating cut-score’ and how this cut-score is set for every form of the exam.  It will explain the concept of ‘non-performing questions’ and how it comes about that the exam is not always scored out of 150.  The webinar will also explain what ‘manual rescores’ are, how they are done, and how often manual rescores give a different result than the original scoring.  There will be an  open question and answer session at the end of the webinar.

The alternate route is of interest to individuals with significant experience in human resources prior to pursuing the CHRP designation. This route may also be of interest to internationally educated professionals since experience need not be Canadian. This webinar is for those interested in apply to qualify to write the National Knowledge Exam via the Alternate Route.
