The Senior Human Resources Professional (SHRP)

SHRP

Find out if you have what it takes.

The CHRP is the gold standard for HR excellence. It certifies that the HR professional has attained the academic credentials, the currency and completeness of HR knowledge and demonstrated the judgment required for a well-rounded professional practice.

Now there is the SHRP, a designation reserved for the HR profession’s proven, high-impact leaders—trusted advisors with breadth of knowledge, strategic orientation, ability to build business-aligned HR strategy, and who exercise significant impact and influence across their organizations.

Finally, a designation that celebrates high-impact HR leadership.

The SHRP is now available in Ontario. To find out if you’ve got what it takes to become an SHRP, take the online self-assessment.

The SHRP application process

The SHRP application process is a two-step process.

Phase 1 is an online self-assessment and gives and initial indication of your eligibility for the SHRP designation.

To access the Phase 1 application click here.

Phase 2 is a questionnaire that asks for supporting information on six SHRP dimensions.
