HRPA’s Volunteer & Leadership Awards Program shines a light on excellence, confers prestige on the recipients, and recognizes contributions to the profession, successful workplaces, and the elevation of the practice of human resources management.

Leadership Awards
Fellow CHRP Award
The Fellow award is reserved for CHRPs who have made exemplary contributions to the human resources profession.
Honourary Life Award
The Honourary Life Award recognizes outstanding contributions made to HRPA at both the association and/or chapter level.
Emeritus Award
The Emeritus Award recognizes leaders who have meritorious reputations for shaping human resources thinking and policy, and have demonstrated an unfailing commitment to the human resources profession.

Awards of Excellence
Ross A. Hennigar Memorial Award
Presented to an HRPA member who has successfully completed the Spring or Fall National Knowledge Exam (NKE) last year and shows career growth potential.
HRPA Outstanding CHRP Achievement Award
Recognizes a member who has received the CHRP designation last year, and made a 
significant contribution to their place of employment.
HRPA Scholarship Award
Sponsored by The Bagg Group
Awarded to an outstanding member enrolled in part-time or full-time studies in the association’s required academic courses.
NKE Top Scorer Award
Recognition of the top National Knowledge Exam score for the Spring and Fall sittings for this year. This award is determined by HRPA. No applications are required.

Chapter of Excellence Award
Recognition of the HRPA Chapter with the greatest achievement in the development of their Chapter.
Chapter Innovation Award
Recognition of the most innovative program or initiative that supports HRPA success and HRPA members.
Fastest Growing Chapter Award
Recognition of HRPA’s fastest growing Chapter. This award is determined by HRPA. No applications are required.
Highest Retention Chapter Award
Recognition of HRPA Chapter with the best membership retention. This award is determined by HRPA. No applications are required.
