Volunteering at HRPA is a rewarding membership experience and volunteers are critical to the association's continued success.
With the expertise and involvement of members, we create awareness of workplace issues, promote excellence in human resources management practices and provide services that support the HR community, knowledge-sharing and continuous professional development.
HRPA members are involved in a variety of
volunteer service opportunities including:
- Board of Directors
- Annual Conference & Trade Show
- Experts Bureau
- Local HRPA Chapter executive and committees
Register as a Volunteer
The first step to volunteering at HRPA is to register with our online Volunteer Community, iVolunteer. If your registration is accepted, you receive a notification. Then complete your volunteer profile. You can search open opportunities that match your preferences and/or skills, and when such opportunities do become available you will receive a notification.
To ensure you avail yourself of all the opportunities for you may qualify, make sure to keep your volunteer profile up to date and as complete as possible.
Length of Commitment
The length of a volunteer commitment varies from as little as a few hours or days or a commitment of a year or more in the case of most committees.
Qualify for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Hours
Designated members who volunteer with HRPA are eligible for CPD hours. Hours vary according to specific opportunities. For more information regarding CPD, contact the Office of the Registrar at email@example.com.
