Information specialists research the HR issues that  concern HRPA members most, including, but not limited to,  HR best practices, metrics, compensation, training, recruitment, termination, legislation, and employment and labour law.

Law Resources

The Law Resources consist of the following:

Employment Law at Work – A virtual HRPA members-only enewsletter containing analysis of significant employment law issues.

Legislative Update – A list of employment-related bills and regulations in all Canadian jurisdictions and their status.

Workplace Legislation – A compendium of  workplace related legislation in the Ontario and federal jurisdictions. 

Labour and Employment Law Articles – A searchable library of labour and employment law articles, including announcements from the Ontario and Federal governments.

HRPA Members Resource Centre Library

HRPA's in-house reference library offers members access to books, magazines, newsletters, reports, studies and salary surveys covering topics such as HR policies, procedures, practices, news, trends, statistics and the application of HR-related laws. Members may make an appointment to visit the library to do their own research by contacting an Information Specialist directly.
