Human Resources Professionals Association - Barrie and District Chapter

In the early 1980’s the Barrie Personnel Association was formed to further employer/employee relations and to share ideas/information related to the profession.

Early pioneers of this group included familiar names such as Al Potter, Paul Gill, Ken Lawrence, Suzanne Reashore, Joe Walton, Larry French, Dennie McEntee and Arnie Norris.

Today the Barrie & District Chapter represents over 500 HR professionals and extends to all of Simcoe County and north to Collingwood and the Muskokas. Our mission is to become the learning & development hub for HR professionals for central and northern Ontario. We encourage you to get involved with the Barrie & District chapter and provide us with your feedback and opinions to assist us in reaching this goal!
