The Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA) is Canada's HR thought leader and the largest HR association in the country. In Ontario, HRPA regulates the HR profession and issues the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation, the national standard for excellence in human resources management. HRPA has more than 19,000 members in 28 chapters and hosts the largest annual HR conference in Canada.The HRPA Ottawa is made up of a diverse group of members that includes HR Directors, Managers, Consultants, Generalists, Vice-Presidents and students.
Our members represent a number of different-sized companies and organizations. Approximately 66 per cent of our members have, or are pursuing, their Certified Human Resources Professionals (CHRP) designation.
Our member demographics include HR Professionals:
- With work experience ranging from less than 1 year to more than 40 years
- Working with companies ranging from 1 employee to over 5000 employees
- Working in HR Departments ranging from 0 to over 50
