Tuesday, February 28, 2012 – Lunchtime webinar on Mental Health
in the Workplace
This month, join your HRPAN colleagues online and
attend our webinar presented by leading EAP provider, Shepell-fgi. We also
recommend that you invite your organization’s business leaders to learn more
about this highly relevant workplace topic. Mental health issues
are often misunderstood and stigmatized in the workplace. Most managers and
business leaders – even those in a Human Resources role – are not well-equipped
or trained to deal with the behaviours and challenges presented by those
experiencing a mental health issue.
This webinar will
provide the organization’s key leaders with an understanding of Mental Health issues
at play in the workplace today. The business case of why we need to pay close
attention and look at health strategies to help provide a safer and healthier
workplace, address mental health issues in the workplace and manage cases when
they arise will all be addressed.
