The Human Resources Professionals of London & District (HRPLD) have a volunteer opportunity for the position of Student Liaison for both Fanshawe College and Western University.
You must be a current student of the Human Resources program at Fanshawe College or Western University and have a passion for human resources and an interest in creating awareness among students.
As part of the Membership Committee, the Student Liaison will:
- Be the primary liaison for students with enquiries about HRPLD and HRPA of Ontario
- Establish and maintain liaisons with post secondary institutions
- Create awareness of the value of the HR profession and association by making presentations to student groups
- Assist with membership drives
- Assist with Student focused events
- Identify professional development opportunities for students
- Assist with development of sponsorships, awards, and internships to support students
- Represent the association at various functions, information meetings, and at local educational institution events
- Participate in HRPLD Executive Committee meetings when requested.
