HRPLD Diversity Committee's Vision:

  • To raise and maintain awareness about the ongoing need to support diversity in London's workforce
  • Promote the perception, acknowledgement and implementation of diversity in employers
  • Aim at reducing discrimination and promoting equal opportunities
  • Encourage the practice of mutual respect for qualities and experiences that are different from our own
  • Coach HRPLD to be, and to be perceived by its members and the community at large as, a strategic partner for Diversity initiatives in London and District
  • Position diversity as an integral part of HRPLD’s and member organizational systems

HRPLD Diversity Committee's Mission:

  • The Diversity Committee will provide HRPLD members with a resource for learning and accessing information regarding diversity issues
  • Diversity is the source or creativity and innovation that can provide the potential for future development and competitive advantage
  • Diversity opens up alternative ways of perceiving, thinking and acting and thus enriches the organization
  • The Diversity Committee will build, package and market the business case for diversity for HRPLD by researching global diversity themes and trends, recommending best practices for London and District, maintaining a comprehensive database of local resources and presenting a Diversity Return on Investment (DROI) model
  • The Diversity Committee will build and maintain strategic partnerships with like-minded organizations and individuals
