Benefits of Membership
HRPA is the largest community of HR professionals in Canada. Networking and volunteering opportunities through the Association and its 28 chapters give HR professionals a true sense of belonging. From providing professional development resources and offering personalized HR research, HRPA membership has many benefits.
YOUR VALUE of being a member of the Guelph & District Chapter and HRPA membership:
- able to network, develop support system with fellow HR professionals in your local community
- access to experienced professionals in different fields again in your local community
- when you join Guelph chapter they pay their one time dues and do not have to pay for our monthly programs (other chapters ask their members to pay up to $45 to attend monthly program events)
- we provide a diverse group of speakers on topics that the members request through a survey sent out by our Programs Directors annually to solicit topics that are current and relevant to many of hands-on HR practitioners who are members
- you can also apply to join the Board and/or Committees whenever there are openings which gives you an opportunity to promote HR in the community and gain valuable Board experience/recognition
- on a go forward basis the Guelph chapter will provide support for those renewing their CHRP and others who may be working towards it.
