Keeping Your Benefits Costs Under Control

HR Professionals will be educated on effectively containing benefits costs without adversely impacting the employees. Noel will provide a better understanding on how to interpret and make plan strategies based on some of the hidden cost drivers. He will provide tips on convincing the executive committee that plan changes will result in savings that are sustainable. Participants will learn how to justify the time and cost of the education process to educate the workforce with a communication strategy that is meaningful to the organization.
They will also be provided with tips on influencing positive employee behaviour changes and demonstrating that the proposed plan changes will influence employee behaviours positively and will not impact employee morale or productivity.
Speaker Biography – Noel McKay
Mr. MacKay holds a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation. In Canada, CEBS is cosponsored by the International Foundation and Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia; industry leaders in employee benefit and compensation education. Mr. MacKay also holds a diploma in business administration from Wilfrid Laurier University.
Prior to this appointment, Mr. MacKay held the position of Senior Consultant, Group Benefits, working with clients to design their employee benefits plans for long-term success and sustainability. Mr. MacKay also held roles of importance in the international consulting community, and with a prominent insurance carrier in Canada.
