The HRPA of Durham is one of very few Chapters to include a committee dedicated to Government Relations. Our Government Relations Committee is a small, but dedicated group which serves to gather information on new or changing public policy, legislation and regulatory initiatives that have a potential impact on the business of our members. As Human Resources is a profession where the rules are always changing, we serve to create awareness of those changes and bring to light those aspects that are important to you in your role.
We meet on a regular basis to discuss how we can best serve you. Your suggestions and feedback are always welcome. Please feel free to let us know if you’d like to join us or simply send along a topic idea.
