Durham Chapter

The Human Resources Professionals Association of Durham Region (HRPAD) was founded in February 1982 through the efforts of a 12 member task force from local industry. The Association is governed by an elected board. It is a constituent Chapter of the Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario. An association with a heritage of over a half century, and a board based membership of Human Resources Management practitioners. It is North America's largest community-based HR organization.

Bill 28 Information Update

On December 7, 2011 it was announced that Bill 138; is slotted to be reintroduced in the Legislature as Bill 28. This act acknowledges that members of the HRPA possess a high level of professionalism and are protected from regulatory safeguards to create value to the organizations that employ them, and to ensure the legislative rights to workers in the workplace.
