ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Co-founder of e2r Solutions® and a partner in the law firm Woolgar VanWiechen Ketcheson Ducoffe LLP, Krista Hiddema is an entrepreneurial business executive with a specialty in human resources. She holds a BA from the University of Western Ontario and is certified by HRPA as a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) and a Senior Human Resources Professional (SHRP).
Krista has provided counsel to clients ranging in size from 10 employees to 10,000, in industries ranging from engineering and high technology to pharmaceutical, manufacturing and not-for-profit. Krista is also an accomplished public speaker who is regularly called upon to speak to employee groups, leadership groups as well as the general business community on a plethora of topics related to best practices in organizational development and leadership. Prior to co-founding e2r Solutions®, Krista held progressively senior leadership positions throughout her career for some of the largest high tech companies in the world. In particular, and immediately prior to co-founding e2r Solutions®, Krista was the vice-president of HR and a member of the executive leadership team for SAP AG.
Stuart Ducoffe, co-founder of e2r Solutions®, is a partner with Woolgar VanWiechen Ketcheson Ducoffe LLP. As an employment and labour lawyer, Stuart has practised exclusively in the areas of employment and labour law since he was called to the bar in 1986. He holds BCL and LLB degrees from McGill University (1984) and is certified by HRPA as a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP).
Stuart has advised corporate employers on all matters pertaining to employment law, labour relations and their representation before a wide variety of administrative tribunals, boards of arbitration and the courts. He counsels employers with respect to the employment impact of commercial transactions including mergers and acquisitions, the negotiation of employment contracts, wrongful dismissal, injunction applications, human rights, health and safety, employment standards, workers’ compensation and human resources communications.
